We are waking up Boston one cup of coffee at a time. Come get yours right now - hot or iced!
Boston Brewin' serves delicious coffee - made with locally-roasted organic, Guatemalan-grown coffee beans - and fresh food in the Downtown Crossing neighborhood of Boston.
Opening in 2011, Boston Brewin' Coffee is owner Tom Barnes’ beautiful work-in-progress. Tom has a vision to open 20 more locations in Boston, and give them away one by one to employees dedicated to community service.
Boston Brewin’ is growing every day, thanks to our super-friendly staff, and our delicious, locally-sourced food and drinks.
The fresh pastries we serve – including scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and other goodies – are from the Haley House, a Roxbury-based non-profit organization “that uses food as a vehicle to help alleviate suffering, build new skills and bring communities together."
Zefta's Le Gout Frais in Haverhill delivers our sandwiches, salads, and pita wraps fresh daily. And we whip up fresh fruit smoothies and parfaits with fruit, yogurt and homemade granola right in the shop.

Do you grab a coffee at a chain where the help doesn't give a crap, you have no idea who owns the place and your money really doesn't make a bit of difference [...] Or would you rather be a customer at a privately owned place where a GREAT guy who gives a darn about your business takes great care of you, has reasonable prices, delicious coffee, great yummy lunch, pastries and actually wants to know your name and earn your business? Come see what's doin at Boston Brewin! -- Craig of Boston on Yelp.com
Great cheap coffee, yummy pastry, and friendly staff. Really, what more could I ask for? [...] And I learned that their food and coffee is locally sourced (which I love), and the pastries in particular support a great cause. They're baked by the Haley House, a nonprofit working out of Roxbury that provides housing and job training for folks down on their luck. I've never felt so good about ordering a couple muffins or a scone! -- Hannah of Somerville on Yelp.com
With a chipper staff and fantastic cheap coffee, I had to double check my surroundings to make sure I was still in Boston. This little hole in the wall is a place you've probably walked by on your way to a more overpriced/overrated cafe (I'm looking right at you, Starbucks). It's ... flooded with dark roasted aromas that quickly get your grumpy mornings going. Squeeze on in ... and have one of the most pleasant coffee-buying experiences in Boston. -- Max of Philadelphia on Yelp.com
The service is very friendly, the coffee is amazing, and Tom definitely gives the "most interesting man in the world" a run for his money. My "Stanley"-sized coffee at 8am is the perfect way to start every morning. -- William of Somerville on Yelp.com
Can I just tell you that the Coconut Latte is heaven in a cup? Oh, I just did. So...... But really, I've tried a latte before at Starbucks and I hated them and one day last week I wanted to try it and BAAM! Hi, really yummy in my tummy, get in my belly-boop-boop humdrum, doodle de doop.... Tom's still the man and Joy and Andrew rock. I'm really glad I started coming here! I'm happy they're making a mark in the area and the trumpet is really what got me. Highlight of the day, even at 8am! Oh and I suggested fist-bump Friday and I got it! Score! -- Cristina of Boston on Yelp.com
Boston Brewin' is the best place downtown. The coffee's great - but the scones. Oh, the scones! Their scones are hands down the best I've ever had. And if you're skeptical, swing by on Workout Wednesday - do something like 11 pushups or 10 crunches and get a free coffee. -- Cassie of Boston on Yelp.com
